A Day out with Lemurs, Meerkats and Dinosaurs
Wait?! What was that last one...
Yes Dinosaurs... Some what extinct millions of years ago but now Thanks to the guys and girls at West Midland Safari Park they are back in the all new feature "Land Of The Living Dinosaurs".
I really don't know where to start with this, expectations weren't to high. You know, you hear about these things and turn up to find 1 dinosaur with it's paint falling off and missing a toe. NOT THE CASE here. With a £2.5 Million investement, it's clear to see the Animatronics involved here, along side with the special effects (water, smoke, sound) and the masses of info dotted around are second to none.
It really was such a great experience, lots of little kids crying and being comforted by mom and dad... I know, i was one of them (the dad that is)... Thats how real they are!
Don't take my word for it, head over to the Official WMSP site (here) and see for yourself!
But for those who have never been to the park themselves, it's most definetly worth going (It was prioir to the new exhibit) - in fact, the only negative i could posibly say is that it's going to draw in bigger crowds on school half term. That means slightly longer waiting times, etc. That being said, the guys and girls over at WMSP are more than capable.
Personally, it's definetly up there in my top 5 UK attractions.
The other 4? - ahh well, you'll have to wait and see.
Anyway, pictures speak louder than words right...
