Pimhill Barn is located at Lea Hall a mere 4 miles from Shrewsbury. The Barn itself dates back to 1584 and is absolutely loaded with character. Plus, with this Shrewsbury wedding barn being a DIY wedding venue, you can well and truly make it your own. Hint: think fairy lights, tealights, candles, all the ambient mood lighting you can think of. Exposed brick, rustic oak beams, and wooden floors are just a few characteristic traits. Also, an interesting fact, the barn itself draws its power from the solar panels that are mounted on the roof so it’s an incredibly green choice too.
With seating capacity for up to 150 guests (or 250 if you choose to join a marquee on to the barn), there is more than enough room for your guests. Take a wander outside of the barn and you’re greeted with a beautiful courtyard area where you can hitch a marquee, a pizza van, an ice cream van, you name it, the choice is yours.
Anyone choosing to get married or hold their wedding reception here has the option for the close Bridal party to use the private gardens at Lea Hall for their photographs. The gardens are incredibly well kept and offer some privacy should you choose to take some time out here for yourselves. Which also makes a great place for a few couple portraits with a beautiful view of the Shrewsbury countryside that can be seen in the distance.
Pimhill Barn also is fully licensed for alcohol and music until 1am.

Accommodation at Pimhill Barn
There is onsite accommodation for the newly married couple in the form of The Courthouse. 2-night accommodation is included in the price, the night prior to the wedding and the night of. If you’re getting married over the weekend there is also the option to extend this to a 3-night stay to include the Sunday night.

With Pimhill Barn being located close to Shrewsbury (4 miles) there are plenty of choices for overnight hotels and B&B’s. For those wishing to push the boat out a little bit, there’s even Beaconsfield Holiday Park nearby offering log cabins with outdoor hot tubs.

Pimhill Barn have no secrets about prices and they can be clearly found on their website. For anyone looking to get married in 2023, a weekend hire from May - September will cost £5,000 (incl VAT). Or April, October, November and December for £4,600 (incl VAT).
This price (as expected) does increase for the year 2024 (more can be found on their website at pimhillbarn.co.uk).
