Top 5 Wedding Proposals
Top 5 Wedding Proposals
So I scoured the internet in search of some really magical proposals. You know the type, the stuff that fairy tales are made up of (Plus I came across some pretty cool ideas). Combined with the stories I’ve heard, I put together a list of some of my favourites and here they are:
Number 1 – The One With The First Date
So, there was this couple that met at their place of work. It just so happens that one of them was the boss to the other (Ironically that carries on through their marriage). Things had to be kept quiet initially, so this couple spent most of their time getting to know each other indoors and they never really went out in case they were spotted. It was all very secretive and somewhat exciting.
The problem was, they never did the first date scene. Rarely getting any dates at all. So, the guy (being as clever as he was) decided on the night of his proposal he would combine as many ‘first dates’ as possible.
They did Bowling (he lost on purpose), They did Mini-Golf (He lost on Purpose), They did Coffee and they had a Meal out. At the end of a magical night, he popped the question and she said yes.
That story was mine.
Number 2 – The One With The Couple That Travelled The World.
Everyone loves a good story and here’s one with a very happy ending. It’s quite a read but definitely worth it.

Number 3 – The One With The Train Station.
Another one of my personal favourites and it’s not because of the location. It’s because of the meaning behind it.
Marcus and Kirstie first met on a night out in Wolverhampton and It all started on a Train (Where Kirstie had a little trip, picked herself up and hoped nobody noticed… Fortunately, this wasn’t the case). Months later, they returned on a detour from a night out and Marcus asked the question on the platform….. Right where it all started!
Weddings are very personal things and this is exactly why!
Number 4 – The One With Monica and Chandler
This needs to explanation. Just an excuse to go watch Friends.
Number 5 – The One That Was Captured On Camera
There’s plenty of crazy, bizarre and somewhat loveable proposals out there. (see here: http://www.chillisauce.co.uk/staggered/weirdest-wedding-proposals-of-all-time/)
But my favourite from the above link (all credit to www.chillisauce.co.uk/staggered - a place for the gents!) is where he set his girlfriend up to pretend she was to be photographed and interviewed for a new magazine. Despite the story being fake, it certainly meant he got the moment captured on camera.
So which is your favourite?
Thanks for Reading.
