The Mount Hotel - Tettenhall - Wolverhampton Wedding - Amy and Rich

It’s about time I blogged this one! - The one I where I almost died! (We’ll discuss that later)

Firstly let’s talk about the amazing venue that is The Mount Hotel Wedding, Tettenhall, Wolverhampton and this Wedding is about the 2 biggest Wolves fans you could ever meet (Well, I probably speak more for Rich, than Amy).

Based in Tettenhall as Wedding venue’s go, this one has to be seen to be believed. The rooms absolutely ooze of character. The wood, the brass, the windows, the figures, the fountain, the garden, honestly…. I could go on and on, (I could explain every natural phenomenon - you’re welcome!). Though as always, I’m going to let the images do the talking.

Amy and Rich are 2 of the nicest people anyone could ever meet. Nothing and I mean nothing is too much trouble for them when it comes to friends and family. Their day was as much about them as it was their guests and they poured absolutely everything into it.

The thing I love about them both is how down to Earth they are. Amy, who despite looking like an absolute princess all day has a mouth on her that any mother would be ashamed of… Ok, so it’s not that bad and perhaps I am slightly over exaggerating, but what I mean by that is, she’ll speak her mind, she doesn’t pretend to be someone she’s not and that’s a good job because she’s amazing!

Then there’s Rich, the gentle giant. Despite standing at 7 foot 4 (ok, again, slightly exaggerating) he’s such a down to Earth gent, who is, who he is. His speech had me moved, it made me laugh and it gave me a sense that I’d known Amy and Rich for years.

But, I don’t want to waffle on, so here are some photos of their big day…

Oh… Yes.. before I forget. The whole dying thing…

So, in the excitement of it all and during their couple portraits I decided I wanted to get a better angle. I set about walking on this incredibly wet tree branch… balancing, about 6 feet off the ground (again… probably not 6 feet) I started to slip…

Camera in hand, wondering how I’m going to come out of this, all I could think of was….

Don’t scream.

Whatever you do Rich… Don’t scream.

So I grunted… GRRR ARGGHHH GRRR OOORRR

Fortunately, I landed safely (I stepped off the branch), I took a deep breath and looked up to see Amy and Rich doubled over laughing…. I could have died!

Anyway…. Images…
